a very fine, black impression, on thin oriental paper, second state (of three), the completed subject with the fully worked background, but before the removal of the name and skeleton arm,, trimmed to the subject presumably by the artist and mounted at the reverse corners onto card, a few tiny foxmarks, with a pencil annotation verso behind the signature, a tiny loss and defect at the upper left sheet corner in the blank area, generally in very good condition
